Achieving Significant Progress and Maintaining Minimum Conditions Part 2

Achieving Significant Progress and Maintaining Minimum Conditions Part 2

In order to help transportation agencies better understand TPM federal regulations and requirements, USDOT and FHWA have created the video series, "TPM Essentials." The series comprises 18 short clips; each focuses on a specific aspect of federal TPM. The entire series can be found on FHWA's website here or on Youtube here.

This two-part concept video explains how agencies can make significant progress in select performance measures (PMs) and maintain minimum conditions on their states' assets. In its explanation, the video answers the following questions:

  • How do TPM regulations apply to your agency's situation?
  • How are PMs measured and determined?
  • What happens if your agency fails to achieve significant progress or fails to maintain minimum conditions?

"Achieving Significant Progress and Maintaining Minimum Conditions Part 1" focuses on achieving significant progress in PMs, while Part 2 concentrates on maintaining minimum conditions.
