As a national pilot project, MnDOT produced a TAMP, along with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and New York State Department of Transportation, to serve as an example and guide for other states. MnDOT worked closely with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the FHWA Minnesota Division, and regional partners (e.g. Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Regional Development Commissions) to create this plan. MnDOT additionally produced a TAMP Technical Guide, which provides further detail about the process, methodology analyses, and procedures used during its development.
