Georgia’s Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) defines the condition of the state’s pavements and bridge structures, including culverts longer than 20 feet, on the National Highway System (NHS). This TAMP outlines the priorities and strategies used to cost effectively manage and preserve these assets over the next 10 years, deploying transportation asset management (TAM) and risk principles to make better data-based investment decisions in GDOT's existing infrastructure.

This policy brief describes the GHG Mitigation Measures Policy Directive adopted by the Transportation Commission for Colorado DOT in May 2022. The policy establishes ongoing processes for measuring, validating, and reporting GHG mitigation measures as set out in a December 2021 standard.

The updated 2022 Mississippi TAMP (further revised January 2023) outlines the guiding strategies for TAM efforts at MDOT. Under Managing Risk (chapter 5), MDOT's 2022 TAMP now includes a new section, "Risk in the TAMP", detailing MDOT's risk performance gap analysis efforts. Under Financial Plan (chapter 7), the 2022 TAMP includes a new section for "Overall Distribution of Revenue".

This textbook provides a framework for infrastructure asset management decision-making, including how data are used to build models and assessing the effectiveness of investments.

The 2022 TAMP is MDT's third TAMP. The 2022 update continues to support agency efforts in achieving short-term performance targets and making progress toward MDT’s vision for Interstate and Non-Interstate National Highway System (NHS) pavements and bridges. Considered is physical conditions, life-cycle planning analysis, investment scenarios and risks for pavements and bridges, a roadmap for future investment strategies, and expected levels of performance.

This pooled fund supports AASHTO SCOBS (Special Committee on Bridges and Structures ) T-19.

This research collected insights from over 100 metropolitan planning organizations (MPO) through a literature review, surveys, roundtables, and information forums. The guide presents these insights as strategies for MPO organizational success and key research findings to overcome the many challenges facing MPOs today.

This report presents pilots with three different agencies as they applied the strategies and practices identified in the AASHTO Guide for Enterprise Risk Management and smaller case studies from several more agencies. Many agencies mitigate risk on a daily basis without realizing or formalizing the process. This study seeks to raise awareness for systematic risk management across the agency including a risk community of practice, peer exchanges, webinars, and outreach. Alongside the report, the researchers also produced a presentation, a risk assessment tool, a budget template and a webinar video, all available from the external link.

This WebResource describes methods State DOTs may implement to assess and reduce their GHG emissions. The resource includes self-assessment tools, an overview of climate change issues, a framework for addressing GHG emissions, and numerous resources and links. The report organizes around nine functional areas of the agency, with cross-cutting topics to pull it all together. Through the discussions, tools, and resources in each section, the report provides support for reducing emissions across all stages of a project, from policy and planning to construction and maintenance. It also reviews stakeholder communication, partnerships with other agencies, and federal or state requirements. Readers may use this guide and its flexible presentation for addressing specific areas within an agency or to adopt an agency-wide approach.
